Clyde was an American singer who was very influential in the shaping of Doo Wap and R'n'B. He was the first artist to become a double inductee in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, first as a member of the Drifters and then as a solo artist. Sadly passed away in 1972, at the young age of 39.
